Lauren and Jake’s June wedding at the fabulously chic Olympic Rooftop Pavillion was a perfect mix of clean modern lines and lush garden florals. Clear lucite ghost chairs, a lucite arch, and lots of stemmed glass hurricanes sparkled in the sunshine and gave the event an air of sophistication that complimented this trendy industrial-chic rooftop venue.  For the ceremony, smilax vines flowed down the aisle and cascaded down the lucite arch, which was topped with asymmetrical floral in cream, blush, and pink.

At dinner, the modern-meets-garden theme continued with more clear lucite touches in the custom table numbers, welcome sign, and cake stand.  A romantic mix of compote arrangements and bud vases in silver mercury and blown venetian glass lined the long tables.  The outdoor fireplace mantle topped with lush floral became a focal point as the guests gathered to take in the view and soak up the sun.  The lovely Lisa Chambers of Chambers & Company deftly coordinated this rooftop idyll, and the whole thing was beautifully captured by the team at Alante.  Enjoy!

Finally! It’s taken me too long to blog this beautiful wedding of Jessica & Mike and to share these amazing pictures by Michael of Lucid Captures!

I remember Jessica and Mike’s wedding day clearly: it was a gloriously sunny and warm day in early October of 2014! And since it was so late in the season we had a Plan A and a Plan B for their wedding ceremony. And oh boy! It was clearly a Plan A day – the weather was perfect and the park at DeLille Winery was even more beautiful in fall than it is in summer!

Jessica and Mike, whose big day was coordinated by the lovely ladies at Perfectly Posh Events, envisioned an elegant outdoor affair: floral in blush and cream with a touch of glam. And I loved the outcome!

Working with Cory & Kyle and their families was such a pleasure – we truly had fun designing and executing this intimate and fun garden-style wedding at the Overlake Golf and Country Club in Medina last June! Cory likes seasonal local flowers and wanted to achieve a natural, more airy organic look for her wedding flowers. And since it was local peony season we used peonies in abundance mixed with lush garden foliage and greenery. Thank you so much, Stephanie Cristalli for the beautiful, beautiful images of their big day!

I can’t believe it’s been so long since I blogged the last time! But I guess it has been wedding season and we have been very, very busy creating many beautiful summer weddings. Things are finally slowing down a bit and I can’t wait any longer to share the stunning wedding of Missy and David from last February.
When I just browsed their images by ever so talented Alante Photography I couldn’t help but to whisper a little “wow!” … What a luxurious wedding this was – all flawlessly coordinated and planned by the wonderful Lisa Chambers and Co! The colors and lighting (by GreenLight Event Design) in the ballroom of the Four Seasons Hotel were breathtaking!  So breathtaking, that when Missy stepped foot into the ballroom for the first time she cried out: “Wow, who needs David Tutera, if you can have Flora Nova!” Well, that sure made my day! 🙂

So, without much ado here are the many wonderful images  – enjoy!

Maria and Ricardo celebrated their fun, elegant, and glamorous wedding almost exactly a year ago at the hip Sodo Park by Herban Feast in Seattle. They were the sweetest couple to collaborate with! It was so much fun coming up with decor ideas for their swank wedding reception: floral in bright pink, glass spheres, crystal galore, feathers, trees, orchids … A fun combination to create sophisticated decor elements and table designs.

Thank you so much, Tasha Owen Photography, for the beautiful images!!!

For Maria’s slightly trailing bouquet in cream and blush we incorporated garden roses, calla lilies, dahlias, and orchids combined with fluffy feathers.

For their reception we designed centerpieces of various styles – incorporating fun elements like glass and wire orbs, crystal trees, submerged and floating elements, trailing orchids. A fun combination of modern and romantic lush.

We created a glamorous entry of silk draping, a partial crystal curtain, and glass orbs with floating blooms – a dramatic and beautiful touch greeting the guests.

And look at that cake!! Loved it!

Happy anniversary Maria and Ricardo! I have very fond memories of your wedding day! xoxo

Tyler and David tied the knot last August at Newcastle Golf Club. It was a gorgeous sunny summer day and the view from up here was simply marvelous. A perfect day for a wedding in the beautiful Northwest!
We had fun with Tyler’s traditional mostly white wedding: adding small touches of black brought in some sophisticated contrast, and the light pink floral accents softened the look and made the whole wedding feel so romantic.

Thank you Azzura Photography for the wonderful pictures of their wedding!

White linens and white chair covers were used for the reception in the ballroom – the light pink floral accents and the many, many candles created a warm, romantic, and soft feel.
