An Elegant Country Club Wedding: Haley and Brenden at Sand Point Country Club

Haley and Brenden’s May wedding was a soft, romantic spring wedding in white and green. This sweet couple celebrated their ceremony in the beautiful Saint Anne Chapel at Villa Academy before heading over to the Sand Point Country Club for dinner and dancing. Haley wore a classic white wedding gown and carried a gorgeous flowing bouquet of fragrant white peonies, garden roses, and tiny garden spray roses, accented with spiral eucalyptus, italian ruscus, and veronica.

A Romantic Ceremony at Villa Academy

The Saint Anne Chapel at Villa Academy was a perfect backdrop for Haley and Brenden’s romantic ceremony. Guests entered the building through a lush greenery arch studded with roses and delphinium. Inside the chapel, gold urns placed on either side of the altar overflowed with spring flowers: snowball viburnum, showy peonies and roses, delphinium, and spirea. The bridesmaids wore blue, echoing the ethereal blue of the Chapel’s domed ceiling.

Dinner and Dancing at Sand Point Country Club

The dining room of the Sand Point Country Club was the setting for Haley and Brenden’s reception, and the crisp white paneled walls, dark wooden beams, and towering fireplaces served as a beautiful backdrop for the green and white color palette. The fireplace behind the square head table was decorated in a full greenery garland, and the room’s brass chandeliers were draped in greens as well. The mix of round and long rectangular dining tables held a collection of compote arrangements that bloomed in fabulous spring flowers. Gold accents in the chivari chairs, charger plates, and compotes lent a warmth to the room, and a mix of clear glass votive candles twinkled.

Barbie and Chris’ Fun Hot Pink and Peach Wedding at Roche Harbor Resort

When our friend Barbie asked us to collaborate on the flowers for her upcoming wedding to long-term beau Chris, we jumped at the chance! We have known Barbie for years as a talented and delightful colleague and wedding photographer extraordinaire. Barbie and Chris’ wedding at Roche Harbor Resort on San Juan Island was a riot of hot pink and peach – as bubbly, fun-loving, and beautiful as our sweet friend herself!

A Trip to the Island with Friends!

Co-designing Barbie and Chris’ hot pink and peach wedding flowers was our uber-talented friend Anne Bradfield, owner and flower lover at Floressence. Anne and Christiane loaded up the cargo van with floral goodies and headed up north to San Juan Island, a breezy ferry trip away from the concrete and noise of the city. Once on island, they were joined by other wedding industry friends: Megan with Clutch Events served as wedding planner and officiant, Katie Parra photographed, and many, many more lent their time and talents to making Barbie and Chris’ day truly memorable. We’ve tried to include a list below, but we apologize if we’ve forgotten anybody!!

A beautiful wedding for a beautiful couple

Spring is a fantastic time for a wedding! Coral charm peonies, fragrant garden roses, a riot of ranunculus, snapdragons, skimmia, icelandic poppies, camelia, tulips, lisianthus, delicate jasmine vines – so many gorgeous spring blooms! Barbie and Chris chose to hold their wedding ceremony out on the Resort’s large patio. A clear tent kept the guests safe from a sprinkling spring rain, and a lush greenery arch studded with peonies and roses served as a beautiful backdrop for the couple’s vows. Dinner was held inside around round tables dressed in blue linens and set with crisp gold and white settings. The bright pink and peach flowers played off the deep blue linens beautifully, and the gold accents and warm wood tones created an overall effect that was inviting and elegant. Congratulations Barbie and Chris!!!

A Seattle Tennis Club Wedding – Ali and Charlie

Ali and Charlie’s Seattle Tennis Club wedding was a summer dream in white, green, and pale blue. Set on the shores of Lake Washington, the location could not have been more perfect for this cool, breezy, simply elegant event. Ali loves roses and her bridal bouquet is chock full of crisp white garden roses of all shapes and sizes, and finished off with flowing silk ribbon streamers provided by the bride’s mother Cassy.

A Ceremony by the Lake

Ali and Charlie’s wedding ceremony took place on the lawn down by the lake. A stunning tunnel arch decked out in green Texas smilax, eucalyptus, and clouds of white roses complimented the already gorgeous scenery. Gold urns stood as sentinels at the entrance to the aisle, loaded with lush white floral. Added bonus: check out the size of those amazing white dinnerplate dahlias in those arrangements! Our flower-loving compliments to dahlia grower extraordinaire Jello Mold Farm!

Dinner Reception in the Clubhouse

After the lakeside ceremony, guests strolled through the grounds up to the Clubhouse for dinner and dancing. Long reception tables were dressed in summery white linen and accented with gold chivari chairs. A mix of gold and silver floral compotes lined each table and a profusion of mercury glass votives cast a warm glow as the sun set and the revelers took to the dance floor.

All-White Wedding at the Four Seasons Seattle: Nashya and Nikko

Nashya and Nikko’s wedding at The Four Seasons in downtown Seattle was the epitome of an elegant all-white wedding. After a traditional Mass at Saint James Cathedral, the couple and their guests arrived at the Four Seasons, climbing the candle-lined stairs into a white-draped ballroom. Clear lucite chairs, all white linens, and crisp silver and mirrored accents added to the elegant simplicity of the room. Tall clouds of soft white floral hovered above each table, elevated on crystal trumpet vases and surrounded by candles. Down the long head table, low white arrangements in mirrored vases sat atop a mirrored runner and tall silver and crystal candelabras twinkled. The whole event was simply stunning!

Elissa and Upshur’s Spring Wedding at Chihuly Garden and Glass

I am so very excited to finally blog about this beautiful and amazing wedding of Elissa and Upshur! When you look at the stunning images by Barbie Hull Photography you’ll understand why.

We will remembered this wedding as one with the sweetest couple, the most impeccable style, at one of the most beautiful venues in town, and with an A list vendor team led by the ever so amazing team of Sprinkled In Seattle. As a designer what more can you want from a dream job!

The Ceremony with a Lucite Chuppah and and Abundance of Spring Flowers

One of our favorite elements of this wedding was the custom designed clear lucite chuppah. It created an effect that made the flowers and greenery on top appear to float … So dreamy! We lined the aisle with greenery garlands and large flower arrangements featuring seasonal spring flowers. For all bouquets and designs we used a mix of large local calla lilies, hydrangea, parrot tulips, roses, viburnum, blooming spirea, and trailing green amaranthus.

A Reception at Chihuly Garden and Glass

The reception on this beautifully sunny spring day was our favorite part of the day. We draped the round guest tables in off-white Shantung linens. And we used clear lucite chairs and clear crystal vases to perfectly complemented the airy and light feel under the glass roof. Then we designed a mix of tall and low floral arrangements featuring local spring flowers and lush spring foliages. Gold elements throughout – the beautiful glass charger plates, gold votive candles, and gold vases – gave the whole evening a classy and uber-elegant feel. Swoon!

In the many planning meetings with Elissa and her mom Donna it soon became clear that this spring wedding at the Chihuly Garden and Glass would be simply stunning. I loved Elissa’s style: modern elegance of clean lines paired with organic floral and greens. The designs with an abundance of local tulips and poppies and calla lilies were a perfect fit for the Chihuly Glasshouse and complemented the ceiling art beautifully.

Elle and Colby’s Romantic Sodo Park Wedding

Elle and Colby’s Sodo Park wedding this past January was a super romantic affair featuring lots (and LOTS) of ferns, mosses, garlands, and greenery. Especially the bouquets featured an abundance of ferns with a few white blooms mixed in.

For their ceremony at a West Seattle church we rented tall candelabras, which we attached to the pews, and covered them in greenery. It was such a sweet look for this outdoor loving couple.

A Greenery Reception at Sodo Park

The reception space at this lovely Sodo Park wedding was also decked out in greenery: we covered the large chandelier above the head table in lots of greenery, designed low and tall greenery pieces for the guest tables, and tucked a little spray rose bloom paired with greenery into each guest’s napkin fold.

Elle and her mom – in collaboration with the ever so awesome Holly-Kate Foss – were a pleasure to work with: though Elle’s mom was a little hesitant with Elle’s vision, she was quickly convinced. Even with minimal flowers you can create stunning bouquets and centerpieces and create a very warm and inviting atmosphere.

We received the sweetest card from Elle’s mom which puts it all into words perfectly: “Kent and I are still in the clouds after Elle and Colby’s breathtaking wedding. It truly was exquisite and had your magic fingerprints all over it. The bouquets, the church aisle candles + greenery, and the reception!!! Absolutely a stunning, elegant evening! Thank you from the bottom of my heart!”

It is for sweet notes like this, that make all the hard work pay off.
