Reena and David’s September wedding at Seattle’s Edgewater Hotel was a fabulous mix of Indian tradition with Northwest style, coordinated and planned by Natasha Larsen of The Invisible Hostess. Beautiful turquoise, burnt orange, burgundy, coral, and gold shone against the Elliot Bay backdrop of one of our favorite waterfront venues. Reena and David chose to incorporate soft garden touches in the Texas smilax and birch wood in their ceremony arch, as well as in the lush green of the raspberry foliage and maidenhair fern in the centerpieces and bouquets. And bright summer dahlias were perfect with Reena and David’s color scheme – just look at how charming they are as garlands gracing the ceremony arch.
For the reception, Reena and David chose to incorporate antique books into their composite centerpieces, a whimsical touch alongside the burnished gold of the charger plates, urns, and candle holders. The ceremony arch became a romantic backdrop for the couple’s sweetheart table, sparkling with a gold sequined linen and draped with greenery, roses, and dahlias. As you’ll see in the photos below, Erik and Marissa of Ciccarelli Photography captured these details beautifully. It certainly was a magical event!
