I loved this wedding! Fabulous bride and groom, fabulous venue, fabulous neutral color scheme, fabulous vendors!! So chic, so stylish! Did I say it was fabulous? 🙂
Jen and Eric tied the knot last March and chose one of my favorite venues – Herban Feast’s Sodo Park in South Seattle. I had so much fun working with Jen, Jen’s mother and Travis from True Colors selecting the color scheme, the floral choices to go with their subtle Northwest theme, and choosing the perfect decor elements. And there were so many beautiful decor aspects: from the lighting to the lounge area, from the draping to the beautiful large ceiling-hung candle frames, from the table top to the floral, the specialty chairs and linens, glassy baby votives, chargers, and and and. The whole day had a luxurious feel but in a more understated way: the subtle color palette and decor elements created a sophisticated and elegant atmosphere that was simply beautiful. The team at True Colors pulled all of this together so flawlessly – it was a spectacular evening!
But see for yourself! The gorgeous images by the talented team of Chris and Sarah Rhoads tell the story of the day perfectly.
Jen’s bouquet of white mini calla lilies – clean, dramatic, and oh so elegant
The ceremony focal point was a clean draped arch, with delicate floral touches
Oh, and the reception was simply gorgeous! The elegant centerpieces in green, cream, and champagne flowers were up-lit from below, we used crush platinum satin linens with black Chivari chairs, lots of candle light, and wall up-lighting
For the guest tables we designed 3 different centerpiece styles – a large mixed design on top of a tall glass vase, then a low mixed design surrounded by tall candle holders, and a modern break-away design in low squared glass vases. All of the designed featured roses, succulents, and unusual greens for a richly textured feel.
A cozy lounge with white leather soft seating is always a great treat for guests during the cocktail hour and the after-dinner party
